This sweet little guy came in FULL of smiles and fun. Towards the end of our session, little baby {N} was getting tired, so my little guys came in to help get those last few smiles. I have such great little assistants on hand.

Great to see you guys again. He sure is precious! Enjoy your ‘sneak peek’.

I am so excited to meet little Baby {K}. I have watched her big brother grow from just months old, captured Mom and Dad’s ‘love story’ and wedding, photographed her beautiful Mom-to-be, and now……here she is (and much later than expected. She must have been really cozy:)

I have always had a big soft spot for her big bro, but he melted my heart at the end of our session. As I was working with his sister, he came up behind me, gave me a big squeeze hug and a gentle kiss on the cheek and said “I love you…..can you take a picture of me with my sister?”. Oh my gosh, how sweet.

Congratulations you guys. Your daughter is very blessed to have such an amazing family, including a TON of aunts and wonderful grandparents.

{FLOWER} power

August 18, 2010

This darling little girl (with gorgeous curls that reminds me so much of my own beautiful daughter, now headed to University….*sniff*) joined me on a glorious summer morning, with her Momma and Grandma. I had dreams of using my new chair, running in a field as her curls bounced and she danced in her tutu…..well, little {P} had other ideas. Thank goodness the field was full of flowers, because the smiles were abundant as she picked away. I got lots of ‘picking flowers’ portraits, but tutus and cuddles with Mom and Grandma were not on her agenda that morning:) Thank goodness for flower power (and for all of the little bouquets we all received).

{FUN} in the sun!

August 6, 2010

We finally were able to have our session this morning, after two reschedules for rain. I’m glad we waited because this morning turned out to be beautiful….nice and cool, with lots of sun!

I was very excited to work with these guys again, after last years session went so well. Mom and Dad even got in a few…..thanks Mom and Dad.

Enjoy your ‘sneak peek’.

Making it to this session was ‘touch and go’ with all of the rain through the day, but it turned out to be a glorious evening, with a wonderful family. They were such a joy to work with, and the kids were GREAT!

I was really excited to finally use my ‘new’ crib. Thank you to my family for putting up with it being stored in our hall for the last year+, and to ‘the Woodright’ (Joe) for fixing it up for me. When I found it at a garage sale, broken and dirty, I knew I had to have it, and I’m so glad I picked it up. I imagined it in a field of long grass, backlit with a setting sun, and holding a beautiful babe. It all came together this week!!!
